It’s pretty hilarious to think of what a dictatorial control Eugene Landy once had over Brian and now history is trying to erase him.

I think the Manson connection to the Beach Boys is overrated.

If it’s not going to cover the dark stuff then it’s just another hagiography like I Am Chris Farley.

Mike Love…I don’t really think about the guy much. His voice sounds nice on “That’s Not Me,” I guess. I think the worst Beach Boys albums are the M. I. U. Album and The Beach Boys, I guess those were mostly Mike in charge but they’re less bad because of the production or the guys being a bunch of dinosaurs than they just didn’t have any good songs on them. Summer In Paradise isn’t a good album at all but I was hoping for it to be far worse and it wasn’t.

If there was to ever be another BBs documentary, I’d want it to be about 1967 through 1973. Exclusively (briefly mention Pet Sounds and SMiLe and get them out of the way).
