The guy in the seat in front of me couldn’t stop loudly hiccuping. The guy next to him kept scooting away. I noticed Hiccuping Guy’s girlfriend kept giving Hiccuping Guy weird looks. I think she said once “Don’t you need to go to the bathroom?” and then they whispered to each other. Then after another 10 minutes, I think maybe she said “STOP!” (which of course the poor guy couldn’t). Finally, the guy next to him saw an opportunity and like, jumped, to sit three rows ahead. Simultaneously, Hiccuping Guy’s girlfriend stood up and walked out of the theater. Hiccuping Guy sat there for another 5 minutes, kind of splayed out now that both seats around him were empty, but also writhing a bit uncomfortably in his seat. Finally, he walked out too.
