But reading that thread is mostly only eye-opening in the sense that it proves that Elon-ology is actually quite a bland and flavorless study; the defenses of him in 2018 (“yeah but he’s like, amazing, bro!”) are the same as now (honestly, I’ve run into the more aforementioned type of defense for Elon rather than people actually thinking he’s really doing the world a favor by cutting the things he’s cutting, and I can’t tell how good or bad that is…though there are morons who think it’s perfectly acceptable to cut the National Parks while allowing $25 million to be blown on Trump’s Superbowl/golf trips.) I suppose what wasn’t as prominent in 2017-18 were people pointing out that he wasn’t actually that smart and that he was the beneficiary of emerald mines, etc. Which is like people not knowing that Steve Jobs didn’t actually build the machines.

Right now there are stupid posts pointing out that he worked on a farm when he was 17, interesting stuff, braaah!!!

Unlike Steve Jobs, Apartheid Clyde has no saintly Wozniak figure to balance out his ugliness, that’s worthy of note, isn’t it?
