I’m seeing them tonight and tomorrow. They’re doing a full acoustic set tonight and a regular electric one tomorrow. Figured even 90s bands are getting old now, might as well see the favorites while I still can. This tour was delayed because of illness or injury, so that could always happen again.

I’ve only seen YLT once before, at an outdoor beer festival in Boston 10 years ago, when it started pouring rain halfway through the set and they ended early.

In terms of going to see a band cold, my friend just invited me to see Hiss Golden Messenger which I had never listened to before. It turned out to be jam band bullshit so all I could do was drink aggressively and wait for each interminable 10 minute song to end
