I seem to remember a new Frank Black album every single year, with almost nobody but Prindle paying attention to them anymore. That seemed to be par for the course with some of the old 80s underground guys, Paul Westerberg and Bob Mould were overly prolific too. Is it harder for him to write Pixies stuff, then?
I didn’t get into Frank’s first two albums much, and those two were supposed to be the best, so doing the rest of his solo stuff is going to be on indefinite hiatus. And that was just a couple years ago that I listened to them–I should have heard them two decades ago when I was going ape shit for the Pixies’ stuff.
