I guess they’re probably not in any worse position than The Replacements or people like that, and probably a better one.

But for whatever reason it doesn’t seem like younger generations pick up on their stuff at all, compared to how other (mostly) defunct acts like Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan and Cocteau Twins picked up zoomer followings.

Maybe the generation after the zoomers will randomly become massive REM-heads.
