I should specify that if I did do GBV I’d only do up to the 2004 breakup. I had Mag Earwhig! on my to-hear list for years and never bothered. And hell, I might do the albums before Propeller which is always cited as the first good GBV album. Sort of like how I never bothered with the 1983-89 Flaming Lips stuff. I know that GBV are back to putting out like two or three albums a year and while Prindle always likes them I bet I wouldn’t.
Dylan, I’d like to do at least through the early 80s. Zappa probably through about 1984. Yes I would like to hear Dylan’s Jesus albums just to see if they’re actually that bad.
I’m also doing Rainbow and The National and finishing Black Sabbath and Aerosmith. Right now the “wild card”/”discography gap” listen is Ummagumma.
There’s only two Talking Heads studio albums left for me to hear and I might as well hear them and that big beloved live double album while I’ve got all those relistens fresh in my mind.
