The most talked-about episode of the sixth season is the one with Bryan Cranston, because it was written by Vince Gilligan and of course the two went on to do Breaking Bad together.

Season 7 was airing in I think 2000, which would be about the last time I watched The Simpsons!!!

The “Jersey Devil” episode is just really trite. There’s a big growling hairy naked woman thing running around in the woods and they’re not sure they want to kill her or not. That’s the episode.

“Jose Chung’s” is the high point of the series, and it’s a parody of the show’s fans. What does that tell you…

“The one about the Satanists” - Are you talking about “Home,” from season 4? That one wasn’t re-aired in syndication, I think, because of the inbred redneck monster family beating a black sheriff to death on screen in an agonizing bloody manner. I do remember that as being the nastiest episode. There were some really gross things that they went ahead and aired in other episodes though, there was an on screen decapitation somewhere in the last season, and a gross melted torso on screen in another.
The best episode of the first season is either the mytharc episode “The Erlenmeyer Flask” which kills off the “Deep Throat” character introduced in the second episode of the show, or “Roland,” which features Zjelko Ivanek playing a prescient retarded guy.

Right now I’m halfway through season 2 and it’s honestly not that much of an improvement!! I know I liked 3, 4 and 5 the best.the first time around.
