I did know the Cigarette Smoking Man was brought back, but I’m not sure I even want to know why or how (does ANYONE ever stay dead anymore?) I agree he was a good villain so I can sort of see why, but whatever. Hell, he was “killed” at the end of season 7 too, though by then my attention was easily waning. Was it ever cleared up whether or not he was actually Mulder’s father? I’m as confused on that point as I’m confused on what happened to the sister.

“Field Trip”? That one almost had me for a few moments. Count that as an almost-hit, then.

“Via Negativa”? Christ, who knows. I had forgotten that Doggett had a dead son.

I did not know there was a Millennium episode with Jose Chung.

I like Krycek for his personality. I don’t think I could pass a multiple choice test on his motives, though.

That ski-lift was a great visual, the most memorable moment of the second season.

I wonder if any movie or TV show dealing with video game technology, that went on to become dated, has ever lasted as anything better than “kitsch.” Talking about “First Person Shooter” here. I guess I like TRON, but it’s only art on a visual level.

There were indeed far too many vengeful ghost episodes.

If you really want to know, and this is very sad to admit, I’m rewatching Buffy The Vampire Slayer now.
