Would you really expect anyone other than ’90s kids who like it out of nostalgia to care about it anyway? The Superhero movies that younger superhero movie fans like probably start with X-Men. I think I saw it some time between 2006-2008 and didn’t think it offered anything to me as someone who misses the days of practical effects and pre-shakey cam action. I guess if you wanted dated ’90s camp and like the actors who play the villains, it’s got that. I like Tommy Lee Jones but I don’t remember what I thought of him there. I think the only Jim Carey movie I ever liked was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
