Oh okay. I guess there are old yearbook photos of Chick too. He certainly does fit the LOOK of an old right-wing religious asshole. I didn’t know he thought the Jesuits would kill him. Now I’ve got Jason Miller from The Exorcist going “The Dominicans! Go pick on them!” in my head.

I once considered having movie versions of your work to be a major sign of success for a sci-fi/fantasy writer, but then I remembered that none of the movies made out of Vonnegut’s works were ever considered very successful (I’ve seen three of them–Mother Night, Breakfast Of Champions and the 1972 Slaughterhouse-Five, a terribly dated piece of work directed by George Roy Hill that I’m stunned hasn’t been remade.)

STARS Henry Rollins? Not a good sign. (To be fair, Rollins has had some amusing supporting roles in films.)
