I like them enough to have practically their whole discography , including the EP’s.
I understand the criticism of their sounding too delicate and perhaps some of their lyrics can get too cute......but (IMHO) where the writing is good, their lyrics are biting, witty and crisp, Murdoch has a gift for melody (i see that others here disagree),as you progress through their catalog it’s noticeable that they have plenty of diverse color and instrumentation on their tracks (thinking of similarity to the band Love from the 60s) and some uptempo dance pop (similar to ABC, Pet Shop Boys) mixed in with underground garage (Velvet Underground)
