The last two are a shame because he probably still could’ve worked on those even with his health problems.

He’s been pretty unlucky because it sounds like covid put a stop to new projects when he might’ve still been healthy enough to make them, and the fires in L.A. may have been the thing that actually killed him seeing as he was housebound and apparently had to be evacuated the other day.

All very sad but a happy thing at least that Twin Peaks S3 got made on the kind of scale it did, when Lynch was still in prime form and just before half the people in it died.

This is also a grim reminder that we’re in the final stretch for that entire generation of filmmakers and musicians.
