No, no, I kid. Huge RIP obviously. Had he lived, I’m not sure what he would have gone on to do. There were rumours of a season 4 for Twin Peaks and I would have liked that very much but I can also be willing to be happy that we got a season 3 at all, let alone that it was actually better than most of the original show.

So Laura Palmer screeching as loudly as humanly possible is what his career goes out on? I guess that will do.

That being said this wasn’t really unpredictable. He joked about his emphysema diagnosis in the press but he was apparently stuck in his house in terrible condition. Oh also his wife (Emily Stofle, she played one of the bar patrons in season 3) dumped him, so that’s a sad note too. I am saddened by this but I was sort of figuring it was soon. I won’t be surprised if Phil Collins bites it later this year either.

2025 is off to a very, very assy, fucky start. And Trump isn’t even in office yet! Four days left, four days left…
