They played those Frampton songs all the time on radio stations that played bands that I actually like. I’m not gonna hear Taylor Swift sandwiched between Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.

Since you always use the example of music you hear in grocery stores, you may be relieved to know that the last time you brought up REM being forgotten, I heard them in the grocery store the next day. I forget with song it was though.
