But I agree with one thing about Trung’s ratings - Costello doesn’t have any albums worth hearing after Blood & Chocolate. A few great tracks like Veronica are scattered over his later period, but no consistently good long players. You can save yourself a lot of time by stopping at 1986. It’s a good 10 year run. Very few musical artists have much worth hearing after their first decade, to be honest. Imagine if Led Zeppelin had tried to carry on into the 80s - broke up at just the right cut off point of a full decade.
