is that a wrong interpretation? i mean i find ‘elevated horror’ kind of an annoying concept but it basically seemed like a drama about grief and impending doom and inability to communicate within a family that uses the structure of a found-footage horror movie, and i thought it pulled that off pretty well.

do you ever use letterboxd? it has a lot of dumb users on it obviously but also a decent amount of insightful/funny people.
