A bit daft of George considering that he was the biggest Clapton defender in this board’s history, bar none (Prindle hated Clapton and I think most of the board sided with him easily back in the day.)
I found my mom’s CD of Clapton’s Pilgrim and listened to it twice, solely because I remembered George bashing the album so hard. What a bore. I wonder if anyone in the world has even listened to that album in the last year.
I would have had a hard time recognizing Clapton in Cream pics because he didn’t have the beard and I was used to seeing 80s adult contemporary Clapton. It didn’t help that Clapton changed his appearance like every six months back in the 60s.
