Philip K. Dick's most beloved book is easily the Exegesis.

I’m kidding, during the commentary track for A Scanner Darkly, Richard Linklater asks Philip K Dick’s daughter Isa if she’s ever read the Exegesis and I recall she says that she hasn’t and that probably nobody but PKD himself really has. (If you don’t know what it is, it’s an 8000 page journal PKD kept)
