It’s called male pattern baldness, it’s not that unusual. Lots of people lose their hair in their 30s. He and Gandolfini look alot better at that age than Garcia in that picture. They do look older though.

I did not realize that Caroll O’Connor was that young in All in the Family though, that surprised me.

Tommy Lee Jones looked old because he had so little hair, but Jerry Garcia always looked older by having alot of hair. But I guess he never looked young. How old do you think he is here:
