Bloody death and hate

“With God On Our Side” is definitely the one people hate more.

Oh God, why did you have to show me that link. I didn’t need the horrific laughs:

We are both here for Summer of ’99, a weekend-long cruise and concert festival

Given that I just watched two documentaries about Woodstock ‘99, the idea of something like that making money is hilarious to me. As I’ve said many times, I can’t believe people are terribly nostalgic for the late 90s, and I was there.

and the rest of the bill is occupied by the dregs of turn-of-the-millennium alt-rock stardom. Buckcherry are here. So are Vertical Horizon, Fuel and 3 Doors Down, who haven’t released an album since 2016.

GAG. GAG. GAG.

The TV screens at the bar are tuned to a near-constant loop of Creed’s performance at Woodstock ’99.

Followed by a near constant loop of Meatspin? Or what?

When I turn on the closed-circuit television in my cabin, a channel called New Movies plays Scream 3 and Can’t Hardly Wait.

AGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH. I CAN’T TAKE ANY MORE.

I used to refer to Creed, who have no good songs, as being a poor man’s U2 crossed with a dead, bloated corpse’s Pearl Jam, but I nominate that Limp Bizkit and Train were probably worse. I don’t really hear Creed anymore, in spite of what this article says–no, I don’t want to believe it either!!–but I do hear ALL FOUR of Train’s godforsaken hits all of the time.
