I’ll listen to it (maybe Overkill, too) tonight because I don’t remember much of it. I don’t know what my first Motörhead album was but I know I bought the s/t pretty early on; like you, I’m probably overrating it because it was the first or one of the first.

In other news, I just freed the last crystal soul and went back to the Vahnatai to get the victory scene for the first game-winning quest. I’ve pretty much got everything to kill Garzahd but I looked forward at an FAQ and it says you need Unlock Doors level 3, a spell which isn’t in the remake. I might risk going in. I’ve been told and know nothing about closing the gate. I need to talk to the king anyway. I’m buying a bag probably on Saturday but I might wait until after Christmas (everyone will be buying weed with Christmas money, though). In any event, I don’t usually play games when I’m high. Sometime in the next few weeks I’ll beat the game.

The Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake has leapfrogged A Link to the Past as my next game to play. Sorry, but I played the shit out of the NES version back in the day and the ground-up remake looks glorious. Then there’s Beyond Shadowgate, and that might lead me to the Shadowgate remake and the other three chapters in The Last Door (the first one). So Avernum 3 is going to have to wait for a bit.

np: The Blues Magoos - “Tobacco Road”
after that: Motörhead - “Dead Men Tell No Tales”
