I think Hangman Jury is their best post-1970s song. I remember thinking for years that it was an obscure deep cut, and then finding out later that it was a hit single that everyone later forgot about. It’s not on the Big One’s comp for one thing. It was one of the two new songs they played on Unplugged, along with Monkey On My Back, which I think is another of their better later songs.
The production is too slick for that kind of song though.
