Bottles of the Pepsi Wild Cherries & Cream seem to be gone from most grocery stores AND gas stations around here, as opposed to Blackberry Dr. Pepper and Orange Cream Coke. Cans are still available as are bottles of the zero sugar variety but to me drinking zero sugar soda is like drinking cola flavored Kool Aid.
I’d really like to go back in time and get a bottle of Cherry Vanilla Pepsi from 10 years ago or whenever and compare it to this new flavor because I’m pretty sure they’re the same thing.
I’ve seen the phenylwhatever warning more than I’ve seen disclaimers that plastic bottles contain “no BPA,” which I thought was in response to a conspiracy theory popular with right wingers that drinking from plastic bottles with bisphenol A makes men less masculine. Oops!!!!!! Or did that just get enveloped by the larger right wing tinfoil hat crowd into all the anti-medicine stuff popular with them these days? Maybe we’ll see a Cherries & Raw Milk Pepsi before the end of the year.
Okay, NOW I remember Theresa Heinz Kerry. But I had an easier time remembering the picture of Kerry at an anti-Nam rally sitting in the crowd behind Jane Fonda.
Actor Brian Cox, the original Hannibal Lecter among many other things, is the voice from the McDonalds commercials. I had no idea!
