By “the singles” you just mean “Should I Stay Or Should I Go” and “Rock The Casbah,” or you include “Straight To Hell” in there? STH is a contender for their best song.

I heard all the 1993-99 Blur albums, the essential stuff, in 2004, the first four of which I payed money to own on CD. My copy of MLIR had “Chemical World,” “Intermission,” “Pop Scene,” “Coping,” “Commerical Break,” and hidden away at the end, “When The Cows Come Home” (which sucks) and “Peach” (which for a long time I considered one of their five best songs, and which I only recently found out is a Syd Barrett homage.) Uh, maybe I’ll try to do that extra stuff.

I made it a point to watch that Zappa doc while doing a lot of his back catalogue that I’d previously ignored, but that back catalogue, and some of my relistens to his stuff, hasn’t been terribly gratifying. For a guy who could do just about anything, he kinda covers the same ground a lot, y’know?
