Cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian.
The other books I’d rate five stars in terms of personal love are Alan Moore’s Watchmen, Stephen King’s Carrie, William Faulkner’s The Sound And The Fury, Philip Roth’s Portnoy’s Complaint, Don Delillo’s Libra and Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle.
