I…think it may have been a flash pinball game. Can’t remember. It was a promo for Along Came A Spider and it was Roland who linked to it here. He was happy that that Cooper album was getting “the biggest publicity from the record label he’s had in awhile” (gawd, there’s a dated sentence for you) and then I listened to the album and it was one hundred percent generic forgettable hard rock songs with serial killer lyrics.
Here’s what it looked like:
Given how conspiracy theories are the biggest right-wing sabre to rattle since 2016, it had me almost choking on my Ben & Jerry’s when I rewatched the recent X-Files episode “S.R. 819” which has the Mitch Pileggi character getting poisoned with something and nearly dying, and it turns out it’s all because of some corrupt right-wing Senator trying to pass a bill (hence the title) that would allow new technology to be made, and Mulder finds out the new technology is....drumroll, NANOBOTS. That’s right!! How would I explain to people today that it was once people on the other end of the spectrum who were paranoid about all this shit?
