Buttzuck (unlike Apartheid Clyde, I came up with that myself, thankyouverymuch) made such a big deal about the Metaverse being the future of life, the Internet, and everything that he lost $20 billion making a badly-rendered town square with triangle people with no legs requiring an objectively dorky and uncomfortable headset, around the same time as Cyberpunk 2077, which is still straining graphics cards to be playable at 4K on max settings at a fraction of the cost, and then… he didn’t even find a new toy: he just kind of lost interest. Only the name remains. It’s the Central African Empire of social media sites.
