I skim over 90% of the articles in Harper’s and TNY but every issue or two I spot an article I actually want to read. Harper’s had a piece on the scriptwriters’ strike and AI screenwriting movies a few issues back. The William T. Vollmann article this month on his visit to the Korean DMZ was OK I guess. It’s the first time I’ve read him since I’m daunted by his huge output. I certainly have no intention of ever reading this. Sheesh.
