yeah that’s clearly the format Todd takes inspiration from. He does a great job with it, I’ve been watching his show for years and he’s only gotten better imo. Stop wactching youtube shows that went to shit years ago (cough AVGN) and watch good channels my brahhhski.

I havent looked at george’s facebook group in ages so i couldnt tell you. but I’m sure if any folks remain it is only the most parasocially attached ones.

i obviously respect the music history and the era of music george talks about, there is a lot of worth in learning about that stuff and George does provide a decent resource for it. but I am always struck by the irony of a guy who rants about modern music being lame almost exclusively covering the most snore-inducing pop and blues artists of the 50s and 60s. looking through some of the artists he’s covered recently… “Chad And Jeremy”, “The Hep Stars” yeah really significant music history there. I guess it’s better than writing Beatles reviews over again for the 20th time.
