Is there a sniglet word for when the thumbnail for a Youtube video has obnoxious big bright text splattered all over it? Like his “Rich Men North Of Richmond” video has “WHO IS THIS GUY??–> ???” on it in big bright letters. That’s turning into a pet peeve of mine. I feel like that’s the modern equivalent of when CDs came out in the 90s and had unreadable liner notes.

I have watched one of his videos before, looking at that list: the Trainwreckords entry for St. Anger. I don’t remember much of it, but it’s St. Anger, so it’s not hard to guess what he said.

You know what I considered doing? Back when there were more people at this board at the old address I was going to do quick listens to the top 10 charting songs for every year starting in 1990 or so and seeing what responses I got, but plans fell through brahski. I dunno, I bet Nick Einhorn would have responded and probably not many other people at all.

I’ve heard worse music than Sabrina Carpenter but I’ve heard better too.

Regarding George having an aneurysm over the current pop scene…I dunno, he was kind of nice to a little bit of it here and there on his second site. But he’d still probably have the aneurysm. God knows what he’s even doing right now…covering PC games on his new site?
