I never played any other version of Street Fighter Alpha 2, and I’m sure that the other ports were better, but I always enjoyed the SNES version. The load times are slow, but is that really a deal breaker for anyone who liked the gameplay?
It’s funny that it exists alongside those bizarre Space Invaders and Frogger ports as an example of “arcade ports for people c1997-1998 who only owned an SNES.” What was the original retail prices for SNES Frogger?
I saw that AVGN video. I enjoyed it, but I’d be interested in trying that game. It has its fans, and I like Price of Persia. It does seem to lack some mechanics that Prince of Persia would have been hard to play without.
