What did you think of that woman who was the female pornography publisher, Diane was her name? The woman who says the first thing she did when she got her first paycheck was run out and buy pornography? She says that Robert has an enormous dick and I have no idea if she was covering for him or what. I noticed in Crumb’s comics that he continues to bash himself for being nebbishy and scrawny and what not, but he still obviously got to get laid. It was also always amusing to me that he didn’t care for the 60s, a bit like Frank Zappa, he said he went to one of those Grateful Dead concerts and fell asleep? Terry Zwigoff the director was suffering some sort of terrible physical back pain or something and slept with a loaded gun when he was making the movie, and he says that the scene where Crumb poses with all those girls for that magazine shoot was actually a really miserable experience.
