I decided to check out that album because I remember those big singles on MTV as a kid. Centerfield is fascinatingly cheesy and Vanz Kant Danz totally is as well. It is extremely catchy and hilarious - “Vant kant danz but he’ll steal your money! Watch him or he’ll rob ya blind!”. So hilariously bitter and direct. It does have one of the cheesiest 80s synth tones and gated drum sounds. I’m surprised it hasnt been remastered by now but i guess its a kind of forgotten album these days.
