Yeah I remember thinking that Game Theory Lolita Nation was one of those classic albums of the era that might not have been commercially huge but was still widely known by music nerds. like a similar status to something like Double Nickels On The Dime or whatever. But no, i realize now that pretty much the only place that anyone ever talked about it was here on music babble. I remember not being too impressed by it either the few times i played it, it’s not a bad album or anything and maybe I’d be more into it if i were to revisit it now, but there are other late 80s early 90s power pop records i like much more.
