I didn’t know you pointed that out before.

Of course, I have yet to hear Neil’s 90s albums. I suppose I could, I know a few songs from them. I’m not wild about “Rockin’ In The Free World,” is that from 1989 or 1990…? Obviously the alt-rock crowd liked him a lot.
I’m a passing fan of Neil, but doing every album he ever did would be sort of a beesh.

Regarding CSNY–No album they made after 1970 was anything too great, but they were still adequate IMO up through 1988, which admittedly only covers three albums. I sure am glad I heard “Slowpoke,” “This Old House” and “Might As Well Have A Good Time,” but there’s still a part of me that wonders if they would have a better legacy if they’d stopped after that monster 1974 tour they did, the one I think Neil bailed on halfway through? I mean, they had a greatest hits album come out that year based off of just the two albums they did and “Ohio”!
And they DON’T have a great legacy–only a couple songs from after 1974 are talked about at all and they probably outrank Jefferson Airplane on the “60s Band Who Got Made Fun of The Most For Aging.” But do they outrank the Stones or the Who?
I wonder if anyone else feels that I do if Deja Vu is the end of the 60s and the beginning of 70s stadium rock.
