You’re right about the production on Pearl.
I Got Dem Ol’ Kozmic Blues Again Mama! is more soul than her other stuff. It’s funkier and has horns. I like the sound, but the songwriting is more uneven.
I agree that L.A. Woman is not a hippie album, but lots of psychedelic albums are bluesy.
