Ooof. I’m sorry, but this scene is even dumber than I remember it. Dollarhyde (Tom Noonan) has like FIFTEEN GODDAMN SECONDS to see Graham charging at him slow-motion through the glass window. Then he doesn’t even bother to kill him when he has him down. The rest of this is a bunch of dumb slo-mo and awkward editing and Graham lamely saying “Stop. STOP IT!” to himself before he charges.

I never saw Mimic, Blade II (or, for that matter, Blade) or either Hellboy movie. Pacific Rim is okay but nothing I wanted to get too attached to. It’s also the last time I ever went to go see a movie based around special effects extravaganzas where cities get ripped up.

Amusingly, a guy I talk to online all the time at various boards is now doing a lot of the Ursula K. LeGuin catalogue. This guy also once warded me off from watching all the Freddy and Jason movies and I’m honestly pretty glad I didn’t.
