Personally, I found my marathon of the Nightmare on Elmstreet series to be a richly rewarding experience. I didn’t watch Freddy vs. Jason though.

Re those LeGuin reviews, I definitely prefer The Left Hand of Darkness to The Dispossessed. I enjoy The Dispossessed more for LeGuin’s ability to interrogate her ideology than for the parts where she props it up.
If you swap Left Hand and The Dispossessed then I probably agree with his rankings. I like The Word For World Is Forest alot less than he does, although I don’t think that it’s bad.
