Yeah I meant open-ended serial, like in the classic sense

Like the episode of the soap opera Tabs posted was season 52 episode 41 or something. That’s the type of story that is constantly, continuously produced. Or like how serial stories were just continuous stories released in the same magazine each week. I think a lot of classic Dickens works were originally released as serials. Hitchhiker’s Guide was something like that as well (I think a weekly audio drama or something).
