Taylor’s biggest scandal is probably the Kanye West stuff, but that’s more her being collateral damage in Kanye’s dumpster-fire of a life than any fault of her own. Kind of hilarious in retrospect that anybody took Kanye’s side on that one. oof. She’s had relationship troubles of course (she literally sings about it in her music), but mostly it’s just petty bs and she does a pretty good job of keeping things private.

Funny enough a few of the people ariana grande works with now once worked with Taylor before she left her old label. When one pop star rejects you, i guess they’ll just find another.
Grande’s biggest talent is her voice and she could easily have a career being a mariah carey type just impressing people with her vocal capabilities (I guess thats kind of already what she’s been doing), her pop songs are going to always be secondary. Whereas Swift didnt become an actually good singer until maybe as recently as like 6 or 7 years ago, her early live performances were genuinely pretty awful (whoooo boy the vocals on her debut are not good). But Grande was on tv from a young age and was dealing with stardom and hollywood insanity right from the start, whereas Taylor’s stayed in her lane doing music for a while before she branched out into other things.
Ariana also gives me the impression that she’s gonna be a plastic surgery botox mess by the time she hits 45.
