People took Kanye’s side? Was there some reactionary article I missed back then?

Ariana Grande physically looks and dresses like the world’s sluttiest 12 year old girl. Like a Disney addict’s idea of “sexy.” I don’t like her music, either. What I’ve heard of it has loads of obnoxious pop star melisma in the singing which is a huge turn off for me. Tell me Taylor doesn’t do loads of that and maybe she’ll go up a notch in my book.

I do remember a Taylor Swift thing I watched a couple times, which was her CMT Crossroads concert with Def Leppard. Sporting that thingie in her hair that girls used to do in the late aughts for about one year, the Def Leppard guys looked like they were sort of having to stoop to this young pop star’s level (before anyone asks, I only like one Def Leppard song, and no prizes for guessing which one it is). And I did recall not being very impressed with her vocals. Remember, she was “country music” back then. And I remarked that she looked like she was about to starve to death.
