So, Mogwai.

Noticed they have a new album out this week.

The only album I ever heard by them besides the mostly wonderful Young Team, back in 1997, was Mr Beast, which unfortunately seems to have inspired a certain goony Youtuber. I’ve never much revisited it besides the song “Friend Of The Night.” I also tried various songs from various albums but mostly just ended up listening to them once, there didn’t seem to be any long form stuff as masterful as “Tracy,” “R U Still In 2 It” and “Mogwai Fear Satan.”

I didn’t know they were still going. Anyone heard any of their post-1997 albums and want to dish about them? Is it like Sigur Ros, where everyone kind of stopped talking about them after 2005?
